Wow this is an amazing deal for the current gen Oled! At this price, it makes me want to sell my C9 65! Don't think I'll be able to convince the wife though since we just got the C9 a year ago.

Mine ordered yesterday just shipped; whoo hoo! Insane deal with no tax, wife is very angry. She doesn't understand the difference between oled and the cheapest vizio TV and why we can't get a tv for $400

Tell your wife that you have a keen eye for the finest things in life as well as what sets something apart from the rest of the crowd and it's why you married her. Also, when you get the TV just play the LG oled demo from their YouTube channel for about two minutes. If she still doesn't get it have her eyes checked.

I was lucky to have got A1 for $800 few days back. Does anyone has any experience with square trade warranty and what exactly does it cover. Good or bad for a 4 yr. does one get addtl warranty when paid with VISA platinum?

The only worthwhile warranty on an OLED is one that covers burn in. My OLED has burn in now and at the time I had no idea square trade didn't cover it, you had to get the fine print hidden away in a PDF somewhere to find that out. So that was a useless warranty.

Don't game on an OLED without a burn in warranty. Absolutely beautiful TV, the best there is (hoping Micro LED compares), but this flaw drives me insane.

Okay, that helps. I have other Sony TVs I would be gaming on. So in such cases, if not square trade, where else can I avail best warranty protection if I brought tv from Sams. Someone did mention that they brought warranty from Costco even though purchased outside

Only oled warranty that covers burn in is BB Geek Squad afaik. Considering the premium you pay for that particular warranty combined with the premium you will pay buying from Best Buy.... just go without an extended warranty.
