I was just using Google Assistant on my Pixel phone and an add popped up on top of the assistant results with the following text:

As a thank you for using Google Assistant here's a special discount for you
It then generated a promotional code and gave me a link to the Google Store, where it took $40 off.

I'm not sure if this is targeted to Pixel phone owners, Android users, or maybe just me but figured it was worth mentioning. Edit to add - Some people in the comments are reporting getting the offer on Samsung devices.

I was just about to post this. I got the offer on my phone (surprisingly) when I prompted google on my phone. I didn't get an actual code, it just took me to the site where I placed the order. Discount only applies to qty 1. Using S20+ phone. Not sure if it matters if your account has multiple items in their environment but I have several home hubs, minis, google mesh wifi, nest, etc. Maybe it's offering to people who frequently use the feature because I live on that. My friend tried with an S10 and it didn't work for him.
