To make life easier for you all, here's a direct link to the promotion rather than playing around with the assistant. Check multiple Google accounts to see if you're eligible! I'd paste it in an incognito window and login just to be safe....

Pixel 3a XL here, no go but thanks for posting, you did well! Only thing is to modify the the title to include YMMV, that's Slickdeals speak for "may be targeted" (Your Mileage May Vary).

I also have 7 or so Google Home/Nest Minis. Do you have any?

I had to click through a few "welcome to the new assistant" screens first. It said turn on new features, but they were already all turned on, so not sure what was new. But after clearing the previous notifications i got the notification for 9.99 home mini as a "thanks for using assistant"

this might have been mentioned in the previous comments/posts but after you get the Google mini for $9.99, they'll also give you 3 months of YouTube premium trial for free.
if you have already used your trial period, you may not be eligible or would have to create a new Google account.

I got this offer on my Moto Z4 last night, just randomly using Google Assistant. I didn't go for it right away because it's the first gen and we primarily use our Minis for playing music, and would rather continue our collection with the Nest Minis... but for 10 bucks I I suppose I could replace the Echo Dot we have in the bathroom so we don't have to switch profiles every damn time one of us wants to play music in the shower.

Enable "personal results" then Turn on "notifications"if it is off (I had notifications off for peace and quiet and had to turn them on for offer to appear). Coral color is OOS. Hope your luck is the same as mine. Good deal

I have both Google mini and Echo Dot. On the Amazon ecosystem, I can set a routine to stream a radio station at a set time everyday. On the Google Ecosystem, it expects me to say something to the Google mini for a routine to trigger (" Voice starter") ! Is there a way to make mini do something similar to echo ? Some handholding directions Would be appreciated.
