Stapler comes out to $61.90 and the batteries/charger is $67.10.
1 - If you are off a little the cable can be damaged.
2 - You can put a staple though the cable.
3 - The staple can crush the cable if too much force is used.
Just a bad idea all around.
Yes it can be faster to staple unless you mess up one run then expensive low voltage cable is trash plus labor. I am sure people will disagree but I have been doing cabling for a long time successfully installing 1000s of ethernet, phone, speakers, alarm and such and not one call back related for wiring.

I noticed on some house wrap and insulation, the staples are much wider, like maybe up to 1.5" - what kind of stapler can do those wider ones?
