the Airport Pro will be 2 years old on Halloween as it was debuted in last week of oct 2019. I got the first wave so I know this.
I'm certain the battery life wont be less than 70% by then if used everyday from 100% to 0% for hours. I do however agree that battery do decline as it ages pending on how much it get used.
heck if your AirPod Pro battery life isn't great as 85% you can always wait for the AirPod Pro 2 or AirPod 3 that lots of folks are speculating (again and again cuz of iMac Rumor site) to be out by November but no discount as MSRP PRICE IS NOT A DEAL***
now as far as AirPod Pro goes in terms of sale, I expect BF 2021 price under $150. $100 will never happen this year FYI.
