Good monitor, but the M27Q is the better monitor. I'd recommend that. Newegg sucks, maybe you can pricematch.

In stock at Best Buy for 269 if you don't like Newegg. Not sure if they price match Newegg but that might be an option as well.

I'd get it at Best Buy. While this is a great monitor, lately there's been some QC issues. Dead pixels, bad backlight bleeding and band issues seem to all be issues. If you get a good one it's great though.

As a heads up, this is an bgr monitor, meaning the colors are in reversed order. For pictures there is little difference, but for text it can make a difference as it gets blurry. There's not a true work around for it just half fixes like:

Flipping monitor, but this breaks gsync etc
Changing font in windows app to clear type helps within a subset of windows apps but not all apps like web browsers etc

M27Q doesn't have RGB sub pixel so text looks horrible on it.

G27Q and M27Q aren't the same monitor, just FYI.

I have read about the bgr thing and have seen the difference it makes. I've never been able to find an answer anywhere though, why do they even make bgr panels? Surely it can't be cheaper somehow to put the sub pixels in a different order right?

I'm using an M27Q right now to read this text, it's not bad at all, can barely tell if at all IMO FYI my 2 cents ~

M27Q is a phenomenal monitor! KVM makes working from home easy too.

I bought two of these monitors a few months ago when Gigabyte did the same sale on Amazon back in the summer.

No QC issues and mine has been working fine still after daily use.

Recommend for $260, best bang for your buck and also has built in speakers (not terrible, but better than nothing).

Yes they price match Newegg so long as it's shipped and sold by Newegg and not a 3rd party seller.
