I have this (in black, and bought as a bundle with the doorknob) and it's great. I've had other types of smart/keypad door locks in the past and this thing takes the cake. Got a second one for the back door. I don't need one of these right now personally but I sent the deal to some friends & family because I can't recommend it enough and this is actually a great deal if the color works for you.

For reference I paid $262.82 for the "black suede" lock + doorknob kit back in April which is $299 right now. Regular price for just the lock is normally around $260 so this isn't an "inflated discount" it's legitimately ~$100 off right now and I'd say if you're on the fence, get it. Being able to use your phone to unlock the door can be handy here and there, but the sensor to tell you if the door is opened or closed is really nice and not having to carry keys around is a huge gamechanger for anyone who hasn't used a keypad lock before.

Depends on usage. Mine usually last around 10 months-ish.

I have this one, as well. I change batteries about every 8 months. Lock/unlock the door about 10 times a day.

Great locks. I have 3 of the Z-Wave version of these, plus one of the lever locks. (I like that setup since I can manage PINs remotely through Home Assistant.) Solid operation and they look great.

Also not mentioned above, there's an external 9V battery terminal in the event the battery dies so that you're not locked out.

Is there a way to integrate this with Ring?
The way that Amazon combines listings/reviews for some items, it's a little hard to tell.

Very easy to install. Comes with network module and connect wifi plug. Nothing else is needed for HomeKit / Google / Alexa support.

Looks like it comes with Connect for wifi and the network module. Hell of a deal. These also have the doorSense module so it doesn't lock when it's open.

Wonder what folks think about this vs August locks? The latter seem to be the best according to reviews.

How does this compare to kevo? I love the kevo but for some reason I have to get the phone super close to it to unlock. It's really frustrating.

Am I missing anything by not getting the Z-Wave version. We have wanted a keypad lock for awhile but I haven't done the usual research and want to know if I should take the plunge here now. Sounds like a solid discount and don't want to miss it! Thanks!!

Hmm, I was looking for the Assure Lock SL in Black, but this almost seems like too good of a deal to pass up...

I don't mind having the key portion and it seems like the actual tech/hardware is the same between the Assure and Assure SL. Can anyone confirm? Any downsides of this model vs. the SL?
