I have had this chair for probably close to 8 years and it has been solid. The only this is the arm rest foam has started to crack and break off. If I could find some replacement, it'd go another 5 years+

This chair is quite good unless you are above ~6'2" and/or need particularly strong lumbar support.

This chair normally sells for $150, which in my opinion is a decent price for the functionality and build quality you get. <$100 is a slick deal.

One option is refurbished, expensive chairs. I got mine at Crandall office and admittedly spent around your max on a $1500 chair. It'll last more than 500 days so I consider that a win.

Bought one in 2019. Seat cushion gave out in 8 months, got replacement, seat cushion gave out in 4 months, I gave up. I'm 140lbs.

Thanks for this I have a similar chair I was given that I have added more lumbar to but is also falling apart. I will probably be biting the bullet and going with a Secret Lab chair since most office chairs dont recline as much as I would like for gaming on a overhead monitor.

I can totally understand the sentiment as I am also facing back issues from all the sitting working from home. However, I'm giving in and will be investing in a $500 chair. Basically what I'm saying is to not cheap out for your back.

Summary from me 6'2" 185 lbs:
- Great value for the money
- mesh back and breathable seat cushion are amazing I'm the summer time for keeping you cool
- never had a part break
- seat went flat after like 6 years of use

Would 100% recommend at this price point.
