Bought this monitor a few months ago, just be aware it doesn't come with an actual monitor stand you have to clamp it on your desk or drill a hole through your desk like I had to do to mount it which was easy. The monitor and stand are very heavy duty, solid price. It's usually $650 for these.

Review this video to see how this monitor works and how it installs, https://youtu.be/Vj-iaDNxr1c

I bought this last year from Costco when it came on sale. Not a gamer, and use it for productivity apps and video consumption.

The monitor arm clamps on your desk, articulates really well, and although has a smaller range of motion than my Ergotron, is suitable for the small everyday articulation -- honestly, I don't move my monitors on a regular basis. Really enjoy the amount of room freed up on my desk.

Use it with a docked MacBook Pro with MonitorConrol (https://github.com/MonitorControl...orControl) to use the mac keys to adjust brightness.

Amazing price.

They are completely different monitors class. This one has 4k resolution. The other 2 are only 2k monitors and can't be compared.

I don't understand why people ask for apple vs orange comparison. Not trying to be an a$$ but what is the reason behind this question? If you need a 4k monitor, have the required hardware to run it at 4k, and can afford it then this is the only choice of the 3 monitors. If you don't have the GPU/hardware to run games/programs at 4k then this is a waste of a monitor.

Can the stand be swapped out for a regular desktop stand? My desk has a glass surface so it cannot support the c-clamp.

How long is the power cable? The last one I bought from LG had a relatively short cable, and since it is 3 prong, the extension cord is very thick and bulky.
You can usually buy standard replacement power cables at longer lengths. I can't speak to this monitor, but I've done this for others and the connectors are all the same

Sweet! Just bought this for full price a week or so ago - looking forward to price adjustment Smilie
Is Costco reliable for price adjustments? I've never done that before, but I'm considering buying now and getting price adjustment, just to ensure they don't run out

The LG monitor I have (I think this uses something similar based on the picture of the power connector) uses a proprietary power brick with a thin cable. It looks like a proprietary laptop charger. It's not the standard cable that most computer desktop uses.

And I still don't see the appeal of this monitor compared to other 32 inch 4k LG monitors you can get easily at $300 on Amazon and other places.

You are talking about this:

Thanks. I will keep an eye out if it goes down again.

I agree that this is pretty pricey, but i guess it's because it's an Ultrafine?
I know you can get LG 4k 32" monitors around 300 regularly at Amazon for $300.
I dont get the ultrafine part, it's still 4k resolution. What's special about this monitor that other 60hz ips 4k monitors for less don't have?

Not that it is necessarily worth $200, but the ergonomic clamp gets rave reviews from everywhere I've read… I'm a bit concerned about the handshaking with Macs though, some seem to think you need to reboot to wake up the display but I've had that problem in the past with out of spec cables, not the monitor itself…

The ergo stand sets it apart - I have mine mounted in the 3" hole in my desk which gives it a very clean look. The monitor is also great for productivity use cases, but less so for gaming.
