For windows, did anyone download and install the driver, "LG HDR 4K 774F 7750.zip" ?

I got this big @ss desk, 64" x 30". The supports are on either side (for the clamp mount). There's a passthrough hole near the back for cables and what not (this desk has to be 20+ years old). Mounting the lg using the gromment method works, but puts the monitor on a bit of an angle relative to my seating position. That is, left side is about 2-3" closer to me than right. This is the only way to get it close enough to me.

Anyway, got an old dell 3007WFP-HC monitor that hasn't been used since 2015. Sitting in the basement collection cobwebs. It looks like the stand uses a standard 100mm x 100m vesa attachment. Was thinking of use that instead of the ergo arm. Thoughts?

Contacted Costco Chat for $50 off $500 coupon.

HDR weirdness;

Windows 10 build 1909
gtx 1660 ti with display port connection (monitor set to dp1.4)

I toggle hdr in windows display settings, the screen flickers but monitor doesn't switch to hdr. No "hdr" pop up in the top right. Desktop colors look all washed out.

I have a shortcut that puts monitor to sleep mode immediately.

First shortcut minimizes all open programs, second puts screen to sleep immediately.

Running this shortcut but waking screen up immediately results in proper colors and hdr popup. Video card has the latest drivers installed (as of yesterday). Not sure if it's an LG bug or a windows bug. Once hdr enabled everything looks great.

It's their money, not yours. No need to get worked up over something you have no control over. They need it or want it now. That is all that matters. It has no bearings on you. I bought mine last year for $700. Don't worry, I can afford it.

Not sure if this was mentioned but for those of us who purchased the monitor beforehand, it appears you can price adjust with a Costco online form: https://customerservice.costco.co...l/a_id/628

Edit: Customer service at my local Costco refused to Price Adjust on an online order.

Really considering this monitor. But at 32inch (upgrading from 27) I feel that it still won't have real estate for have multiple column or handle multiple blocks of software without the text being too small. I'm now thinking maybe two do these? Or a 49inch ultra wide?

Programmer here. I'm running at 125% scaling, still plenty of desktop space for 2 columns of software. Probably can squeeze 3 columns if I try. Text size is very comfortable for me at this scaling. !50% is even larger, but you loose desktop space. I came from 27" 1440p, this is a huge upgrade definitely noticeable. Also have a Hackintosh running on dual boot. Very nice setup for editing photos.

Awesome thanks for the feedback I was hoping to get a programmers perspective. But I'm surprised you said that it is comparable to two 27inch at 1440p? I find it that sometime I would need 3-4 spaces. For example I need to see the code, while running the actual software and have a terminal up to look at the output log of the software that I'm writing. I'm thinking that 32 would be too small for all that? That's why I was thinking to go bigger to handle four columns of info.

I think you can add a vertical monitor also two of these monitors would be better

I would say get two of these because similar resolution in 49 inch will cost you $1500+ on a very good day in near future.

I understand that you desk does not have space in the exact area where you want to put this monitor. Any 100x100 Vesa mount with be good this stand is really great but would only fit LG ergo series only.
