I'd highly recommend against relying on DIGITS.

It's buggy as hell and very much a hit and miss when you can actually even sign in or get it to function.

It's a shame really, because it's such a nice idea and would be a great service otherwise.

Most likely when this ships, the Back to School promo would be over as it usually ends mid Sept. Thus the "time of getting" the mini is outside the promotion.

I mean that doesn't really hold water if you consider the case someone orders any eligible product on the last day. Their item also won't ship until after the termination of the promo, but they will still be benefiting from it.

iPad Air has been $499 several times. That's a better deal, unless you prefer the smaller form factor.

Regardless, the new iPad Mini looks awesome.
