Ha, came by to see if this is posted and what ppl are buying with their $25. Is Venmo like PayPal/RH where you don't REALLY own your crypto and locked in to their market?

I've already received my 25 from this deal on 9/13 when I bought crypto on 8/19.

The process and system looks exactly the same as PayPal's. (PayPal owns Venmo).

Free money is free money but know you don't own the crypto. It's similar to robinhood in that you can not send it out of venmo essentially making it useless

Of course I bought some to get free money!!

FYI my promo had fine print that states that only the first 15,000 participants will receive the $10. And their CS apparently has no way to determine if the promo is still live.

I just received the email today and it looks like they updated the time frame. Now it says:

Offer Period: This offer begins when received by the Eligible Participant and ends on September 30, 2021 at 11:59:59 p.m. PT ("Offer Period").
