The USP of this deal is that it's the PRO-MAX version. If you are good with any Iphone, you are better off getting the Iphone-12 through Visible(for $400) or the even 13-Mini through other carriers for a lower price.
But if you specifically want the MAX version, such deals are hard to come by. As of today, Used/Refurbished versions of 11-Pro-max sell for upwards of $620 on Swappa and Ebay.

To purchase the device, you need to either create a new ATT/Verizon account or use your existing Account.
After activation, you can pay-off the remaining installments and move to a different carrier. However, if you need the device to be unlocked, you need to stay for 60 days.

Walmart has the 64 GB Iphone 11 PRO MAX for $600(or 256 GB for $675).
You can setup a new Account or use your existing ATT/Verizon account.

I ended up creating a new ATT account(with $60/month plan) in order to place the order. Upon receiving the device and activation, the device can be paid off in full and the account can be de-activated. But to get the device unlocked, it needs to be on ATT for 60 days.

Only if you can get it out of the store unactivated... They aren't locked until powered up with a SIM, they have a Reseller Flex policy.

The 256gb would've been a solid deal. 64gb(people always forgot that about 20gb of that is already used by OS and certain apps) isn't sufficient in almost 2022

You do have to be eligible for an upgrade (verizon) to take advantage of this. If you find value in Applecare the device is eligible for Applecare for life since it's brand new.
