This has been posted before. A few times.

It can also be combined with the refurbished store for a deeper discount.

I did two browsers clicked mac on both, so default stuffs popping up

Military portal 4 items
Mac mini 611 from 711
Mac mini m1 683 from 809
M1 air 765 off 899
21.5 inch iMac 800 from 944

Same screen on non military browser refurb store too
Mac mini 679 from 799
Mac mini m1 759 from 899
M1 air 849 from 999
21.5 inch iMac 889 from 1049

It shows diff numbers because the apple mil refurb store has 10% lower base price and takes another 15% off that.

It won't say 25% off, it'll say 15% still, but the item itself is already 10% cheaper

Any family or business in a tax-free state? The savings alone can pay for the plane ticket when you're looking at higher-end laptops, then just carry it on the plane. Did this for Oregon.

This discount barely covers tax, depending on what state you are in...

Total comes to $322.90 in my state.

I have a feeling you will see this for $299.00 before the holidays on non taxing military sites.

I had a ups P.O. Box for years in alaska using it as a mailing address I used it to evade taxation I prob saved 50k but they cracked down on me I also got 10 years of alaska pfd using that and friends address

But I used to mail items to the alaska ups box, and ups would mail them to redirected. I forget how much it ran yearly but it was worth it.

Tax free for almost 10 years. Miss them days.

Bad time for ordering iPhone Pro Max.
The Apple online shows to me after I verified my military status:

Delivery: Currently unavailable
Pickup: Apple Store Pickup is currently unavailable.

Is Apple trying to collect military information and then gives everyone a shock for not being able to use 10% discount?

Edited 2:
I just called and talked to Apple. This pre-order needs to be done on this Friday. For using 10% military discount, the pre-order has to be done online.
It's posted on their website that it isn't available yet.

Yeah tbh never actually used my military discount at apple website since can get same item price at theexchange website without the state tax included so get the most savings.
Only few reasons to order from Apple like with items like new iPad Pro miniLED that was only really available through Apple due to limited supplies
Faster shipping usually through Apple
and lastly Apple makes it easy to trade in old device to get new device. Almost traded in my old iPad to Apple but theexchange had such a good deal on the newest iPad Air that you end up paying even less even without trading in old iPad!
shopmyexchange carries contract-free unlocked iphones?

When I just did a search on shop my exchange it tried to send me to http://aafesmobile.com/ a site run by "wireless advocates" and asked me to make a separate account. Any experience with "wireless advocates"????

Damn I was hoping for this not to be posted so that it can be on the down low!! If this get way out of hand AAPL may pull Military discount altogether then that would be suck!
So you want them to have the military discount but not for people to take advantage of it? Oh okay....

I think service members should get more than 10% honestly.

Do you think there will be crazy lines to buy iphone these days?

Last time I bought Iphone on release day was when I bought 6. The lines were crazy.

How is it these days?
Just order online when it's available. You won't get it on day-1. But it's worth waiting a few days to not have to wait in line.

It's been available for several years to honor our service members. Share with everyone, it also applies to everything including iPhone which does not get discounted normally.

Apple employees get 15% discount for friends and family. If you know anyone have them buy it for you. Just FYI.
