Just wanted to update. Got the physical card that included Gamestop. Bought $100 amazon gc at the store, no issues. Try to avoid even showing the cashier the card. Just swipe like cc and give last 4 digits of card upon request if requested. It will work. Did it several times with the Lowes Happy card in the past, but nice to know that it works with Gamestop Happy too.

Those credits cannot even be used to replenish Amazon gift card balance which I learned too late. Not doing that again.

I was able to use the happy card promo credit on third party gift card purchases
I'm in the same boat. Ordered last night, charge posted to my CC, but no email.
But the bonus was way more restrictive than I liked.
Not going to do it again.
