Here's a piece of advice from someone who owns the 144 hz model of this laptop: Don't upgrade the BIOS firmware to 1.7.0! It will seriously underclock the CPU. Follow the setup tutorial on Reddit and you will get the best performance possible on this machine.

This is probably the dumbest idea ever. Electricity costs more than what you gain in mining. Why not just invest what your utility would cost daily into Ethereum through Robinhood instead? You get more!

This has been fixed. I am running the latest bios and vbios. You need to update both.
