I don't think the two sponges make up for the price differential.

Even if you don't go to your local Costco, it's $3 to ship, which makes Costco's $0.139/oz vs Amazon at $0.143/oz with 5% S&S.

I have so much dish soap from all the Slickdeals. BTW, nothing beats the Dawn Powerwash Spray. 3pk in Costco for 10 bucks (in store) and it lasts forever too.

We switched and can't tell a difference other than the price and slightly less nice bottle (we kept the old Dawn bottle and refill since a huge 75oz container isn't very ergonomic anyway). Well, the price is different...

Tell me more about this spray. I youtubed it seems alright. Is it really better than dish soap? I'll cancel my order and pick up some of the spray if it is. I cook a lot and would love anything that can make cleaning up easier...

About 29 years ago, I did a science fair project on the best dishwashing liquid. Can confirm it was Dawn.

Aldi and Walmart's generics were fine for us. I think lately it's more a decrease in the quality of Dawn so it's barely any better than decent generics. We just joined Sam's with the $45 rebate "free membership" and took a chance on the Member's Mark generic. Honestly it works better. We have a glass dog bowl (we clean it with a paper towel instead of using our dish sponge). Washing it with Dawn and rinsing it would still feel 'slimy'. Walmart and Aldi were no better or worse. The Sam's Club version gets more of it off. Considering all the reviews that say it's too rough on their hands/causes dermatitis I'm assuming it's 'harsher' and that's why it works better, but also something to watch out for if you have sensitive skin.

The BJ's generic is blue water. Had to soak the sponge in it to get anything clean. One of the few truly bad things we've gotten from their generic brand.

I wish I had a car and a Sam's club but I dont living in NYC so these deals having shipped tomy door with Prime are a good deal for me and maybe it's my imagination but I really do love Dawn.
