Thanks OP. This looks like a very cool something that I'd love to have but can't think of any practical applications for it. I have a bunch of other Milwaukee tools and love them. Have any ideas as to somewhere this would come in handy?

I've played with this at the store before. Not sure what I'd use it for. I'm also curious what others who own this use it for?

Camping? You can put stuff in it and have a light? But I'm still waiting for a deal on m12 rocket that would seem more useful for night lighting camping, back yard, power outage.

I need help. Every night I'm hacking. Picked up three separate orders after work today. While browsing, I saw this and it brought the warm and fuzzies I had when I used my hacked rocket light for the first time this past weekend. Said I wish we could hack you pretty girl as I went to grab my pickup.

And here we are. No idea how im going to explain this one to my wife.

I'm using it for an excuse to buy the other packout stuff. I just need to delete slick deals though. At this rate I'll never make it to Black Friday with any scratch to spare.

I've used it a few times... Detailing my car in my garage, extra light in the courtyard when eating outside, doing electrical work in a dark room. The light is bright, but not as bright as i would like. If I knew then, what I know now, I'd likely find a cheaper solution.

I got it a month ago when the hack first started. I like that you can independently aim each of the lights, i like that it has a locked cubby to charge devices (i guess locked is the wrong word, more like securely fastened). And i like that its a battery charger. The only thing its missing is an m12 charger. Then i wouldn't have to bring any other charger on the road.

No regrets here.

Ditto. Don't explain. Just say "are you asking me to return my manhood to the store?" if/when she notices and possibly complains.

Here is my real world experience: great all around light as far as lighting things. But it's too low. In order to make this really useful, it needs to be set up on something with the light pointing down. Unfortunately, the lights "droop" if they are tilted down so you constantly have to fix them. But the cool upside is it will charge a battery and your phone.

Milwaukee makes brighter lights for cheaper, I think?

There's a bit of a price premium for this because all the "Packout" stuff is expensive.

I picked this up for the hacked price. It's not all that useful. It doesn't swivel very well or far enough. Going to return it.

It's Milwaukee

It's packout

It's almost 50% off

If you need to use your pack out tools in a place with no lighting, it's useful. I ceiling bounce the light.

I'm with the other guy though on the m12... why the hell doesn't this charge 1 m12? It also would've been a great outlet splitter too.

Ok now I'm thinking about modifying this thing.. I've got several spare m12 chargers, I can chop one up and integrate it into this box.. then add a 6 outlet power strip.. hmmmmm.
