I miss the yearly Target/Amazon/Bestbuy latest iPad generation at $249.99 during Black Friday. They never did it last year. They did it every year going back as far as I can remember. All good things come to an end I suppose. Darn.

Nevermind. Found the 256gb version. Sold out. That was the one I wanted.

I think that's due to the limited supplies. Not sure if the supply would be enough this year

I bought my mom the Ipad 128GB model for $329. I think they would call it the 2019 model. That is the Ipad before the current Ipad. The OP Ipad would be the newest one. This is the first model that offers 64GB which is all you need. The past/current Ipads were always 32GB or 128GB for the value models.

This one will probably be $279 or a little lower pretty soon on Best Buy deals.

For one holiday season it was at $225 I think. I regret not getting one that year since it never came back.

Yes, it was target, the day after black friday a couple of years ago. great deal. last year they didn't go as low for the 2020 model.

Easily. With some creative shopping from Target, you probably could get it for under $260 in a couple of months.

Aside from form factor iPad mini has the A12 vs A13 chip (not sure what the real world performance boost is) … and a laminated screen w/ AR on the mini vs this one. I think other minor things are the Bluetooth (5.0 on mini vs 4.2 here) and camera tech is slightly different. I think camera is slightly better on this one for front facing.

I think it boils down to screen size / form factor for me. The trade offs are there in features.
