I have this computer I got it for $1523 after taxes then put a couple of fans on the top keep in mind it will more than likely be lhr 3080 mine was. It gets about 54 hash rate on nicehash quick miner it stays cool now the Asus 3080 is non lhr but it is a hotbox and had to change out cases. For it. It gets about 100 hash rate.
I had rewards plus 10 percent coupon off and also a 20 percent discount because I bought something that was defective from them and when I purchased another computer but it came doa and I complained to customer service because they didn't have that defective model in stock anymore.

Or just pull out the GPU, sell the entirety of the rest of the system for like $1,200 and have a $1,000 system that you can build as you please.
Or, if you're mining, the case is irrelevant as it's getting dumped.
FYI, the same system sold out in less than 24 hours when it was listed on Newegg for $2,499 a few weeks ago. Xotic sells it for $2,599. Would have preferred to build my own system, but since since scoring a 3080 at msrp is essentially impossible, this will do just fine and is certainly a lot better than Asus' plastic prebuilt hotbox or rolling the dice on whatever components Skytech will throw in the case. Stoked to finally step up from my old i5 6600k and 1070!
Probably a poor buy for miners if the card is LHR, but for those of us who just want to enjoy some butter smooth games in 1440 with ray tracing, this is a solid deal.

Yes I have one of the asus 3080s you're mentioning as well. Good computer horrible case with only one exhaust fan ๐คฆ โ๏ธ I got it for cheap using rewards at Best Buy and placed it in a case with 6 fans and it runs cool now.

I can also say,that Best Buy refund me 50%,after I called them...Talk is cheap.

I use the asus 3080 non lhr card for mining that pic is just from when I was setting it up to mine it's not even connected to a monitor or tv right now. Or even anywhere where I can see it. Mining doesn't use cpu just the graphics card. The cpu usage is only 1 to 2 percent. Now if you wanted it for gaming I'd agree the cpu cooler is crap on the asus.
