Need a bed frame. Are these cheap metal ones a squeak fest?
Or should i go with wood?
Almost 3 years with my King size version, that's with 2 adults, 2 large dogs and a small dog sleeping on it. It's only been taken apart/put back together once (during a move, almost 2 years back)... No squeaks here.
I still have mine from 4 years ago. It's loud. I need to tighten it though.
I prefer to use metal frames. When I put it together I make sure to use gulf wax to prevent the squeeking & I place black duck tape strips on the metal bars to prevent the bed from sliding.

That's gross sleeping with dogs in your clean bed.
Anyone looking for feedback, received it today and set it up. Instructions were good. All tools were there, but it does make creaking sound. I'll try tomorrow to tight the bolts further but it looks like it can't take any extra force. Returning this thing will be so cumbersome, it is heavy. Any inputs?

Thanks saw that. Still in two minds whether to go with all metal or this.
