I wonder how long this will be valid for as Ive been holding out starting showtime until closer to the new Dexter starting in Nov.

I was checking on this offer as well because its available on my Amex..But how would you benefit from this offer as the terms say a " single purchase of $8 or more " to receive a $5 credit? This offer is for $4.99 a month for 6 months after free trial and by that time the Amex offer would be over. Is there a step I'm missing to stacking this with the Amex offer?

Their Fire TV app is terrible. Absolutely terrible. I found myself always yelling at it, so cancelled after a few months for my sanity

So is this the same sub.as that deal a few months ago where you purchase Showtime APP on your ROKU TV...but it is nerfed and you only get SOME of the movies, not a Full Showtime subscription? Or is it a regular, full Showtime Sub?

FYI, because I found this out today, showtime offers a student discount for 99¢ per month for one year through Amazon prime if you have a student account

i dont think that is correct.
99c/m for upto 1 year.
its actually only 2 months.
so only 2 months is 99c/m
then 11 per month

the offer is same for both student and regular prime...

Nope, mine specially said 12 months for showtime within the Prime Video app. But I guess we will see after two months.

I did notice that, Epix also shows 99¢ for 12 months within the Prime Video app, but on the Amazon webpage, the deal just shows a 7-day trial which is strange.

the amex offer is never going to trigger automatically and you'll have to call in to get a courtesy credit.
