eBay has a 20% of power tools promotion. You have to add both items to cart to get the free shipping (otherwise it's $9 per item). Once in checkout apply the coupon SAVE4FALL to the order.

It's sold by Factory Authorized Outlet (Authorized Milwaukee dealer). I've purchased two items before and have not had any issues.

Final prices and link for items:

I've firsthand experience using one of these recently. Decided to get some of that faux concrete rock for the exposed foundation around my house. Attaching to the concrete required loctite construction adhesive - I needed around 80 tubes of the stuff.

My neighbor, a Subaru master technician, offered to lend me his Milwaukee caulk gun. He uses it to apply a bead of sealant or whatever to Subaru engines and swore by it. He wasn't wrong. It made the process way easier than using a manual gun.

No different than paying for a powered backpack sprayer for . If you use it enough it is worth it. I just spent the last two days caulking. If I had to do it over I would of purchased one of these then resell it to recoup part of my purchase price. I probably will never have that much caulking to do ever again.

I posted a video reviewing the two. I think the Ryobi is better for the home owner.

How is a caulk gun worth $100?! Have I never used one nice enough to understand?

It saves you time and if you have arthritic hands, it can be draining to push a caulk gun for 15 minutes to caulk an entire kitchen.

I personally have the M18 which is a higher pressure caulk gun for things like driveways. Can't say I will own the m12.

If you're laying down anything other than 1 tube of acrylic latex, the caulk gun is amazing. It's a lifesaver for OSI Quad (and Quad Max).

Sure this is useful for big jobs and for those with weak hands but when I caulk manually I often need fine control over the speed of the flow. In many situations I wouldn't want it to dispense the caulk too fast. Does it have a pressure sensitive button?

It has a varial speed dial (1,2,...6) plus a "pressure sensitve" trigger. Personally, for NON-construction adhesive related application, I suggest to set speed to 2 and do some test to get used to the trigger -- it's different from manual caulk gun and has a learning curve.

As others said, it saved my hand from next-day's soring after sealing my windows several tubes per day. Even as a DIY'er, I would say it worth it if there are a bunch of windows to caulk -- typically it cost me one 10oz tube every two windows.

Caulk gun is worth it for construction adhesive alone. You can buy a kit from Milwaukee to use the large tubes. (Approx. $60) From my experience, most of the large manual caulk guns fail after a few cases of pl-premium (frame bends or the feed mechanism starts slipping) since it's such a thick adhesive and doesn't flow very well. This has already saved me the $160 in not having to keep rebuying the cheap guns or the skeleton guns. For softer adhesives like subfloor adhesive, the manual guns work fine.

It's definitely nice to have this when you have to go through many silicones at once or have arthritis in hand. Very consistent and battery lasts forever for this tool. I purchased mine when I had to go through 10 liquid nails and few silicones. For typical home use, this is def overkill especially with the price tag.
Agreed. The Ryobi version is saving my ass while laying down a good 20 tubes. My shoulders hurt from working above my head but at least my hands don't hurt as well. But the ryobi is like $45. This is ridiculous

Don't think most folks need something like this but I'd definitely recommend investing in a good manual caulk gun and not the crap they sell at most stores for 10 or less. My 40 dollar one makes caulking so much more enjoyable because it takes barely any effort to squeeze out the substance compared to the plain old metal ones.
