I have the Logitech MX Master 3 for Mac and was wondering if any one else had the issue where Mission Control shortcut button assignments just stop being responsive. I know the mouse is still connected cause my other 2 button assignments are print screen options, and those work during it.
Happens regularly, then fixes itself. You can stop the Logitech services and restart them in Activity Monitor, or just reboot.
(Side note : When mission control is not working from the mouse, it will still work from gestures on the Magic Trackpad)

I have the same issue. The crazy part is that the macOS keyboard shortcut for mission control is also unresponsive when my mouse button assignment breaks, which leads me to believe it's an OS issue.
Glad I'm not the only one with this issue! Haven't noticed that about the keyboard shortcut! I only use the touchpad's swipes when that happens with the mouse.

Do you run this in Bluetooth or using the included USB dongle? I have one with an M1 Mac Mini. It worked perfectly at first, then I had all sorts of problems and couldn't figure out the issue until a Logitech rep advised me to use the dongle rather than Bluetooth. It's been smooth sailing ever since.
I use Bluetooth. Tried a couple days with the dongle and it was rock solid the first day, but then the second the same thing happened a few times so went back to Bluetooth.

Yeah, at least it does seem to fix itself for me. Haven't tried that going into the Activity Monitor to restart it, cause it's usually around 5-10 minutes when it starts working again. And that's what I do, use the Trackpad swipes when that happens. Just super annoying, esp when you you try some of the other non Mission Control buttons and those are still working. Whoever it is (Apple or Logitech), please fix it! Love the mouse besides this issue.
Coming from logi x pro superlight, can't imagine going back to a mouse so big and heavy haha
Congrats? Different mice for different tasks for different people. I can't imagine using a tiny mouse, I need something ergonomic with some heft to it. At least not on my desktop.

I come from mx Master 2. I do agree with you on one thing . Different mouse, different purpose. The mx master is the king for office use because of extra features. But you're wrong on the g pro x mouse. It is far more comfortable fits hand perfectly. I would know since I have carpel tunnel.
I got this mouse from best buy a few days ago, the scroll wheel is nice but horrendous at the same time. If you try to change the scroll direction constantly, it will not catch the motion. It is super annoying, probably going to return and go back to a gaming product.
Received mine from Amazon. This is the Chinese version (Chinese on box and documentation, .cn domain on box). It doesn't really matter to me but figured I'd post the FYI

Good deal. Just be aware that Logitech kinda ditchs the user of old MX (including regular MX 3). The new MX key mini uses the "bolt" receiver that is not compatible with the "unify" receiver that old MX uses (including those that is currently on sale). The new MX business line uses the new "bolt" USB receiver.
This is the best mouse I have ever laid hands on. Bar none. But the Bluetooth stopped working consistently after 8-9 months and after a week of frantic swapping the unifying receiver from port to port. Jiggling it. Praying for luck. And ultimately signing into work late.
I eventuallt gave up and bought a wired Razer Basilisk, which feels like a cheap knock off by comparison. But it works while my Logitech is literally a paperweight.
My original MX Master mouse is still kicking after almost 5 years. I've dropped it a number of times, and still works. My Logitech K400 keyboard also has been great, though it's only about 4 years old.
Ended up getting an MX Keys keyboard, and will probably get this mouse eventually, just wanted to comment in build quality being great on these more expensive Logitech mouse and keyboards. Definitely worth the price premium (especially coming from the Logitech M510, which pretty much every mouse lasted only about a year before the rubber started to wear off).
Why does it matter if it's third party or not? Does it mean it's a knock off or something?
Hard to tell if they're Logitech authorized sellers for warranty purposes.
*edit* I guess people are saying they're getting versions for the Chinese market so I doubt any warranty will be honored. However, 4 year Asurion warranty is only 10 bucks. That might be worth it.

Everyone's hand is different. People also grip their mice differently too (claw vs palm grip). What's comfortable for you might not be for others. There's literally no wrong or right answer.

YMMV. Good luck.
