Random T-Mobile numbers are getting this error message after entering phone number and SSN. "We're sorry, there was an issue processing your request. Please try again later." This is also happening on Apple's websites to those same numbers having the issues. T-Mobile is trying to fix the issue, but does not have an ETA.

Im upgrading / trading my iphone 11 pro max .
Pre-ordered yesterday 09/23/2021 around 10 AM.
got a text an email this morning saying its ready to pick up.( was kinda surprised about this , but ig because this best buy has less people preordered , or got more stock , im in missouri)
I backed up my old phone to my computer . and reset the phone.
Got to best buy( I was one of the first 3 people there so i got help right away) , the guy asked me for my order number and name, then told me to get with a lady.
the entire pick up was about 15 mins, she asked for my id , then my old phone, she spent most of the time input stuff into the system. I confirmed on the machine my info is correct. she handed me the new iphone new in box with a sim card on top. I asked if she need to activate the phone or anything and she said no , when i put in the phone it should activate it self. got the phone and the receipt , now im heading home.
She didnt open the new phone box at all , she didnt ask if I need to transfer my old phone data to the new phone ( might be she noticed my old phone got reset)
Only do it if you have a iPhone 8 or below.
Not worth $700/800 after all the hassle that you have to go through.

Is it better to just try to pay it all off and try to sell the phone after it gets unlocked instead of trade in? (iPhone XS 64gb) $330 trade in value at bestbuy. $157 trade in value at t mobile.
I've never really bought a phone from bestbuy so idk how these activations work. I've only done it with t mobile directly

There were a lot of people who got ether deceived or got inexperienced sale person, who then took them overseas thinking it's unlocked and got screwed or ones that inserted the sim card of carrier they don't use (inserting international sims would either say 'can't be activated" or worse got locked to some random carrier) to check if it's unlocked and it got locked to that carrier with them unable to use any other sim, etc.
Basically main point is that Best Buy has to sell them as one of the big 3-4 carriers since they don't have any other option.

I only see $100 off original price, no extra trade in credits given. if buying 13 pro max 256GB.
Apple gives me $790 for iPhone 12 pro max
Bestbuy gives me $775 for my 256GB
Buy from Apple with trade in, T-Mobile gives another $200 credits if I do not upgrade to Magenta plan and credits are given in 24 months.
Buy from Apple is $115 less than buying from BB.
Besides, If buy Apple GC from target, I can get up to $100 extra Target credits.
However, buying from Apple locks me at T-Mobile for 24 months. BB is one time payment.
