Hi. It's Verizon. You're eligible to get the iPhone 13 Pro on us when you trade in your current phone and stay on your current Unlimited plan. Pre-order now. Call 800.319.2482 or visit m.vzw.com/iphone13 (data charges may apply). Add'l terms & trade-in conditions apply.

I have an iPhone 12 Pro (paid in full) on the Do More Unlimited 5G UW plan.

It appears that all I have to pay is sales tax ($62.09) and the upgrade fee ($35.00) for a total of $97.09 and I can trade in my 12 Pro for a 13 Pro with $0.00/mo for 30 months.

Great deal if you want an upgrade! I hadn't planned on going to an iPhone 13 Pro, but this may make me move.

It's bill credits for 30 months I believe. I'm wanting a straight trade in discount.

This deal will get a lot of thumbs down as it's bill credits but if you are interested in upgrading anyway and plan on sticking with Verizon it's a good deal. Plus they are not (yet) pulling that 36 month crap like AT&T.

Just seems this is as good as it is going to get for my situation. They make it not for everyone of coarse.
Some people are still in contract for previous phones if they want to keep getting the discount.
I have a family of 3 phones just did this upgrade iPhone XR trade in's I called a rep to do the transaction and get the breakdown

$800 per line credit for trade in so iPhone 13 is 0$ a month. (I hope he applied it over the 24 month finance and not the 30 month, it is $0 either way but they bill it with a full monthly price and then credit that back in promotion on the same bill for instance it would show on $33.33 added onto the bill then a credit of $33.33 to zero it out and then after that month the phone buyout if I was to leave is $799-$33.33= $765.67 and after the following month it would be another $33.33 less and so on for 2 years)

Free doesn't mean it won't cost you no money, upfront fees for 3 lines
~ 35 dollar activation per line ($105)
Tax on each iPhone 13 retail price ($150)
$255.00 upfront to get it ordered

Plan changes,
Need eligible unlimited 5G plan to get promotion…. we had a starter 4g plan for $45 a line with 3 lines, had to upgraded plan, 5G eligible plans start at $55 a line with 3 lines. So now our monthly plan is $30 more a month ($720 increase from our previous bill over 2 years) not mention there were $13 in plan one time plan change fees
May take 2 billing cycles for the promotion to kick in as verizon needs to receive your old phone and inspect it until then you will pay uncredited full retail finance price on each bill, once your return phone checks out ok you will receive back credit for the full retail monthly price adjusted to what your promotion cost would be. I'm my case I will pay $33.33 then receive the additional credit on the second or third bill to square up.

Bills are going to be very confusing for the first couple months as they never itemize in layman's terms. It's always prorated and credited with fees fees fees.

3 phones over 2 years is about $1000 extra in monthly plan and upfront fees… not even factoring in 3 phone cases or damage/loss insurance.

Good deal for me? I guess so.

Thinking about doing this deal, but a have a small barely noticeable crack on my screen. Will they cut my credit in half? I couldn't find anywhere how they account for the condition of the traded phone.

I'll be doing this (maybe Pro Max) on our 2 XRs when the 24 month loyalty contract expires mid-October. Wife loves the Apple platform (has the AirPod Pro, 2021 iPad Pro cellular (paid cash) and Apple Watch 6 (paid off) currently). But she is itching for a new phone. Hopefully the speed difference alone justifies upgrading and the bump in plans with AT&T (going from a $60 plan to a $75 one).

Found an issue in the order they placed. I needed to change my plan to get the promotion, which I did. I thought everything was fine the iPhones are supposed to arrive in a week or so but I checked my plan and it is currently the same ineligible plan. I chatted customer service and they said plan would change on October first. If I was to of activated my new phone and traded in the old phone I wouldn't of received the promotion and lost out on $2,400 credit. The initial sales rep should of changed my plan first then placed the phone promotion trade. Be careful dealing with this, no receipt or writing was given explaining you are under a promotion trade. If something goes wrong and you activate the new phones you won't know for possibly 2 billing cycles and have no paperwork and will be stuck at that point with whatever happened. It took me over 2 hours on hold and dealing with customer service to just get disconnected before the manager could address my issue. It's a complete joke and they really show how much they can control you by silencing your concerns. I was on hold so long I drove to the Verizon store while on the phone and showed the guy my phone with Verizon service clock at an hour and a half, I told him my issue and he said he can't help me he doesn't have the inside information and the whole transaction needs to be redone in order to get things right, except he can't cancel a preorder phone and I need to deal with service reps over the phone. Be careful and fully understand the promo

I did the deal. Incredible that they will give $1,000 for an old phone, even a damaged one.
