They should be similar but this is $300 less. Sony was better reputation for motion processing for movies but lg has more hdmi 2.1 inputs for gamers which I'm not.

C1 also has VRR and ALLM, but a80 is supposed to get in December with update...no guarantees though. A80 also has atsc 3.0 tuner if you care about over the air 4K

Just submit online price match there is a good chance you will get it. I recently got a price match on two iPad pros two different orders prob like 45-60 days and earlier in the year I got price match on MacBook Air over 90 or 100 days,


You got nothing to lose takes like a few minutes to enter order item price details.

Yes and they will credit sales tax so $500 plus tax goes back to your credit card, but you will have to wait until the sale starts

It's almost the same. It has a couple extra features that aren't very notable, it includes a longer Bravia Core subscription with more free titles, and it comes with a longer warranty. Nothing about the Costco version is worse, unless you're bothered by the inclusion of a microphone on the TV, which the regular A80J does not have.

Is burn in just as much FUD as plasma? I've got a 7 year old 50" Panasonic plasma that's been flawless. A 77 would be amazing but might only get sign off on 65 and these TVs look good. I think the Q90 Samsung led are the other TVs I'd consider
