nowadays, Office Depot are marking thing higher than what their value is. Even is 100% back, but it will be more future use. Amazon is selling $16 for 72 with other brands for AA battery. If you have time can deal with office depot, sure. Otherwise, not worthy buying from them...

Nowadays? Where have you been?

They always have charged way over retail value for these.

The way to do this to your advantage is to:

Be a rewards member of course.
Spend $10 a month out of your pocket. This deal is a great opportunity to do that.
Recycle 10 ink cartridges that month which rewards you $20 to spend there later.
To cash rewards out, look for price matching opportunities. Guess what? You can do a PM for this deal also! The only benefit is less taxes out of your pocket but you will get less rewards, which is a good thing because that means less money tied up to use there.
Buy stamps with rewards about to expire as a last-ditch plan if you don't find anything you need that can be price matched for a reasonable price.
Another option is to look for sale items or clearance items while recycling and/or shopping in person or online.

This is the best possible use of your side-gig of OD/OM rewards. If you don't do these things, not much benefit, but still some.

In case you would like some guidance on how to maximize (or double at a minimum) your value, and pay less (I paid $10.78 after a price match yesterday to Amazon), please read the thread. It would be worth your time

I waited a day before picking up my order and my rewards from the purchase posted before I picked up my order.

Sorry, if I asking obvious questions. I couldn't find it in the small print. If I apply the 20% coupon, I do not get free shipping as it drops below the minimum for free shipping.

If I want free shipping, can I just order it without the coupon and still get the out of pocket amount back in rewards?

That is, I get more back in rewards without coupon, rather than with and having to find a filler.

Is there any way to tell if there is a new or same 100% back deal appearing tomorrow, after this one expires?

Back in the day, it was commonly in the weekly ad, which would be released ahead of time, letting us know, but I have not seen that in a while.
