Does anyone know if C1 can zoom on picture? My old Sony TV had three modes, Full, zoom and Widezoom. New Sony X900H 85" has good pictures but most movies are in widescreen so we lose almost half the screen (there is no way to zoom in 900h). I am trying to decide between Sony A80J and LG C1 77" for a different room and this feature will decide what I purchase. Kids and wife are not happy that they lose half the screens. We watch mostly movies and streaming content (and not much else). Kid plays games but I doubt he understands all those gaming modern gaming features.

Good opportunity to teach your family about aspect ratios.
IME most high end TVs don't have this feature, but if you search or post on AVSforum someone will be likely be able to confirm definitively.

Oh man, please don't tell me that you use the zoom feature so that you don't have black bars on the top/bottom.
The director intended for the movie to be seen like that. Zooming in will remove the black bars, sure, but all it's doing is literally that. Zooming in. Which means you are missing big chunks of what is happening on the left and right sides of the screen.
