Is there a way to avoid the $10 sim fee? I'm using a RP GSMA sim/plan currently if that makes any difference

Fine print states "limited time offer...new activations or first time port in..."

Can't really tell what the price will be after intro pricing ends.
1 month $30
6 month $15 (intro price)
12 month $24

Can't find much information about the company. Seems sketchy.

Not sure if other NVMO have this policy...

I paid $240 for 360days for 8GB/month... this is not a deal at all. 2 extra GB ain't sh*t, definitely not worth an extra $10/month
Not sure what you mean.

You paid more per month, for less data.

You can't find much about this company because it's not a company - it's a brand.

Red Pocket is the company behind this brand.

This is what happened last time.

a month in and they canceled it. They gave a credit, which was generous to them not the end user.

That was when they were a reseller, they're a Red Pocket brand now.

Lol, that's every provider's policy. You have to transfer your number out before cancelling service. You don't cancel service and then expect them to hold your number for you do you?

It's the "we may change your number at any time" part that I don't like. If it's common, never noticed before. Thanks for the information.

What is the price after the 6 month promotional pricing ends? 12 month average may still be higher if the regular price is not low. $240 ($20/month) for 12 months is not bad. Can't speak for other's, but I don't want to jump between phone carriers multiple times per year. So do you know what the annual cost would be?

Just chatted with their support on your behalf - got connected very quickly.

They said that your renewal price will depend on the promotion available at the time of renewal - existing customers qualify for promotional pricing, according to the rep.

Worst case scenario, you'll pay somewhere between $24 and $30/mo for your 6 month renewal - or a flat $30 if you start to pay monthly.
