The 17" supposedly has better cooling but sacrifices a bit of portability. If you are looking for a desktop replacement, at the same price I think the 17" is a better deal.
(The 15.6" version has a slightly faster screen refresh, more accurate colors.. and rgb keyboard versus white back-lit on the 17")

Microcenter is the source regardless of whether your deal is for in-store, online, or both.
If it was for B&M only, then that also should be there. Otherwise, it is presumed as either an online deal or both.

The orange tab "Popular" deals which are on the FP, but not true "Front Page" deals even show the source next to them there, regardless of whether they're in the title.
And you are also wrong that it is irrelevant for online deals. If I see a deal from certain retailers for online deals I may be more or less inclined to participate.
Just one example for me:
Newegg as the source for a laptop = Probably not happening. Terrible customer service and high restocking fees.
I may not convince you to be more helpful, but I and the community would appreciate it.
Another reason it is helpful is that deal alerts only show you the actual title. Sometimes the source even though online really does matter.
Certainly, you can refuse to be more helpful if this discussion hasn't convinced you, but you may get similar requests from others. I see that requested often when omitted.
Regardless, thanks for posting, and keep that up!
