Quality varies quite a bit. The base ingredients are similar, but most of the locations are franchises, and corporate doesn't seem to be super fussy about uniformity of food. Things like mixing the sauce correctly and cooking the right amount of time make a big difference. Also, hot-n-ready means that lazy store managers might let them sit in the heat rack for too long, which absolutely can dry them out.

If you've never been excited about being able to buy a 5 dollar pizza, then count yourself lucky. I've had multiple times in my life where it absolutely made my day to get one of these, and there could be again.

this tastes gross.

i ordered it once recently, hot out of the oven.

it looked edible, but the taste and texture was mediocre.

i was surprised it tasted worse than digiornos

I've been having Domino's $7.99 3-topping large (or medium pan) carryout instead of Little Caesars. Just a heads up if people like their toppings or prefer a medium pan pizza.

Costco membership is not cheap, it can buy 5x $5 pizza 🍕
Pretty sure you dont need membership to go to the food court. Food court self checkout doesnt ask for membership.

Food court, alcohol, and cigarettes shouldn't require membership. Most if not all states have laws against charging a subscription to buy these items. Regular employees don't usually know about alcohol but all the managers do, you fill out a small form that takes a minute.

How can anyone enjoy their pizza!?
It always tastes like some type of edible cardboard.. Yuk Sick
it might be where you live. I live in Texas now, and our local Ceasars is trash, but back home in Michigan, it is always on point.

I've done mystery shops of little Caesars for several years now buying only "hot n ready" pizzas (over 100 in the last two years) and I have found that if you put a little butter in a pan, and reheat the pizza, it improves it ten thousand percent.

Recently they began selling something called a crazy calzony, and it's really quite good. I reccomend giving it a try. Ymmv

I actually like their pizza but I always tell them to make it fresh when I order. It takes an extra 10min wait but it's well worth it. Plus, can't beat it for $5.

I'm impressed that Little Caesar's has held their pricing during COVID while all of their costs have increased. Unlike McDonalds, they truly care about their customer base. While I consider their round pizzas to be average at best, I like the way they do business.

To be fair, delivery would basically double the price of the pizza, if not more... DoorDash and the others always add a ton in fees...
Exactly. Not like the good old days with free delivery and a few bucks tip to the delivery driver.

And inflation is only going to get worse in the near term.

The Calzony is very creative. They take the standard pizza crust and cut a few slits in it, add a white cheese sauce and then fold the cut areas over each other and bake it like a normal pizza. It's basically the same ingredients as the $5 pepperoni for $8.95. It's a great way to improve their margins without having to raise prices on their basic items. More companies should think this way instead of just complaining about their costs going up.

I have not had Little Caesers in years, I remember it being a ton of dough, not great sauce and not much cheese. Sorta a glorified breadstick. Is this still the case?
It's hit or miss depending on the store. I have ordered deep dish with extra cheese that was glorious with cheese gushing over the sides and baked to perfection. Other times it was as you describe. Same with Domino's - my local Domino's is awful, but elsewhere they are good.
