I went to Costco yesterday and found this brand. Seemed unique with the clumping litter and resealable bags, not to mention ridiculously cheap for 42 lbs. Tested it out and it clumps very nicely and keeps the box clean. I've tried the other Costco brand, Fresh Step and it was God awful. Can't even fompare to this.

On sale: Save $3.30. MSRP: $12.99 - Can't see price online, must be IN STORE ONLY.

Product Details
Complete Performance Clumping Cat Litter
Multiple cat formula
10.5 lb resealable bag
4 bags
42 lbs total

More Information:
10 days odor control
Plant extracts for natural odor elimination
99.9% dust-free
Ammonia shield technology

We've been using it for a year or two. Works well, though it's pretty dusty. Considering switching to the pine pellets maybe.

It claims 99.9% dust free but there's a little more dust than that. It's less dusty than most, and I only see significant dust when adding it. The Arm and Hammer 100% dust free is best but is twice as expensive. I think it's a good value and will continue to use it.

As others mentioned, I agree, it is a dusty product. I take the litter box outside when refilling because of the clouds of dust this product creates. I prefer the arm&hammer or target brand, but this does the job. This is an "ok" deal that you can get pretty regularly, I just bought the limit of this to hold me over until a better slick deal comes around.

edit: This is Complete Garbage, can not neutralize amonia or clump as well as previous fresh step that Costco sold.

Higher price than Costco

Picked up 4 jugs of Target Scented Clumping Cat Litter - Up & Up for a friend. She said it was comparable to Tidy Cats.

I use Worlds Best and have for years. It cost more, but no cloud when filling cat box, lighter weight and clumps pretty well. I think it goes further ie. lower amount needed for the same task. Would use something else if less cost and didn't weigh much more, but haven't found anything that comes close. Price for what you get in the post is great though if that product works for you and your furry friends. I have an automatic cat box that takes care of the "scooping part", so I might not be the best tester as I just add a little bit of litter here and there to keep it level and I choose not to scoop anymore. I just empty the tray of presents once a week and cat seems pleased with the process.

Is this scented or unscented? My cats won't use scented litter...just unscented.

It's scented and on the strong side. Good odor control wise.

I use this in a litterrobot and it works great! The new 4 small bags in the larger 40+ lb package makes it easy to carry.

Pro Tip: Don't buy 10 of these and forget them in the trunk! That's 400+ pounds and your car will notice!

I usually prefer Precious Cat. It's quite a bit less dusty than this Scoop Away. Whenever my cat comes up to my face, I can smell this litter on her. It's not great, but I'll use it until I can get Precious Cat on sale.

99% when compared to Pounds not By Vol.. Its 99% dust free by weight. Big Grin

It's cheaper than the other brand Costco sells and ridiculously cheap when it's on sale there. Clumps great and the 4 bags in each package are MUCH easier to handle than one huge heavy one.

I'm majorly stocking up at this price.
