I bought a solar panel and controller to charge my lawn tractor for $31. If I added a 12v battery, the controller has a USB plug that could be used for powering a camera or led light strip. It puts out about 20v and the charging circuit cuts that to 3 amps.
I'd rather have that setup than the Ring one unless it's more waterproof.
