Never ordered from Murdoch's before. Reputable?

I got one of these used last year for like 250. It is 100% worth it at this price. They are a little bulky but if you hike or do any sort of outdoors where having a topo map on your wrist would help, this watch is the best

Bought one few weeks ago after a slick deals post for same price, sent it back due to the screen being so poorly designed. The brightness and contrast is super bad when inside not in direct sunlight … can't believe Garmin let them make a screen like that… it was the only complaint I could find in reviews on Amazon and thought surely they were just picky cheap people…. Nope screen is piss poor

Think I got mine on the same deal. Been using it daily since then. It's a great watch has taken a beating and keeps on going. I haven't used the maps much even when hiking new areas I feel my phone is so much easier to use when it comes to mapping. I'm not sure about the screen comment I'm perfectly happy with the screen and to me is readable during pretty much any condition.

As far as I can research, they are. They're based mostly in the north, but have tons of stores. Good question though as I had never heard of them before now either.

That's a good question, I called their customer service and verified that all the watches they sell online are new.

I was thinking the same thing as I tried out a 5S Plus inside; seemed super dim compared to my Instinct Solar. I think their main draw for the screen is that it is better outside, but I kinda feel the same way. I am probably going to replace the Instinct Solar with the 5 Plus from this deal tho; almost same price ($250 vs $300) and wayyyy more features and capacity. I had issues with my Instinct rebooting during navigating and I think that's related to the storage, reading online.

For you guys that got the $250 deal, just out of curiosity; was it the normal 5 or the 5 Plus? If 5 Plus, that's an awesome deal for right now 😳
