Never ordered from Murdoch's before. Reputable?
I got one of these used last year for like 250. It is 100% worth it at this price. They are a little bulky but if you hike or do any sort of outdoors where having a topo map on your wrist would help, this watch is the best

Amazfit T-REX for $99 (recent deal on Amazon) def better deal, and 20 day battery ☺️

T-Rex has music? Or are you just throwing out the names of cheaper fitness trackers? Because we know there are cheaper fitness trackers.

Bought one few weeks ago after a slick deals post for same price, sent it back due to the screen being so poorly designed. The brightness and contrast is super bad when inside not in direct sunlight … can't believe Garmin let them make a screen like that… it was the only complaint I could find in reviews on Amazon and thought surely they were just picky cheap people…. Nope screen is piss poor
You're missing the whole point of this product. It's primarily an activity watch. It uses a transflective LCD display, which is primarily illuminated by ambient light. So when used outdoors, especially in direct sunlight, it's more legible than any LCD or AMOLED screen, while using barely any power. Which is why the battery lasts a whole week. And it does have a backlight, so it works OK at night or indoors.

Also have a Forerunner and never had an issue with screen visibility. Wonder if this is just a Fenix issue.
I've had the Fenix 3 and 3HR and currently a Fenix 6; these screens are perfectly fine. The complaints are coming from people comparing it to smartwatches with incredibly bright LED or AMOLED displays. Those do look much better indoors, but the battery barely lasts a day.

I've had this watch for about a year now and love it. I paid way more than this and would do it again. It's also great for golfing, shows your distance to the pin and keeps track of your score. Lots of different watch faces to choose from with all kinds of data.

Agreed...I've taken mine up mountains (you can upload routes and trails to it), golfing, working out, running...great battery life while not GPS tracking (I get a day or two on the mountain when I am having it follow a course).

That website is awful. It's out of stock, but let's you checkout and enter payment. It only stops you when you submit to say out of stock.

Yea, I know it's an adventure watch, but for a watch with a $1200 price when it came out they should be able to have better tech with some clarity to it … or have an option to go into a different mode when outside vs inside … Looked at the Coros Vertix 2 or Fenix 6x sapphire and decided to try the fenix 6x saph, as it dropped $300 bucks on Amazon randomly to $599 hopefully that is better screen, if not I will keep wearing my garmin instinct for a daily and fenix 6x for running and hiking only

Listed as expired in SD?

Still listed as $299 with free shipping on the website.

Are orders not going through? If I didn't have a new VivoActive 4, I'd pull the trigger to find out, myself.
