Well this was fun guys, it's finally over for me and I ended up happy with the outcome. I got my price adjustment completed today + a $100 coupon was issued from a previous agent that I thought wasn't going to happen (they gave this for the inconvenience). I finally started setting up my tablet and unfortunately noticed the pen tip was bent/wobbly so I am not fully done with samsung yet, I gotta get that fixed. But my recommendations for anyone still trying to get this worked out:

1. Realize what it is you want (price adjustment, free buds, a refund, etc)
2. Reach out to Samsung Executive https://www.elliott.org/company-c...s/samsung/ and email all these emails explaining the situation.
3. DO NOT CONTACT NORMAL CS VIA CHAT OR PHONE (it will only waste your time)
4. Wait for Yvette (or someone else from Tier 3 Support / Office of the president) to reach out to you.
5. Let Tier 3 know what you want, they are 100% willing to make this right within reason.
6. Be Patient (they will get back to you)

Like everyone here I wasn't too trusting of Samsung after this royal F Up but I'm glad I waited it through with Tier 3, Yvette is really nice and is willing to help. Please be nice to her and give her some time to reach towards your resolution. Hope this helps anyone still getting this resolved!

Tinkered around. 407.99+tax for S7+ 128gb model and the buds pro. Feel like the deal back in March was a bit better, but can't remember.

Buy now or wait to see what prices will be once the S8 is officially unveiled. Decisions, decisions.

March deal was 10% more expensive for 512gb version and Galaxy buds live.

It's true you have to activate for Verizon model. And it's a soft credit pull so you can't be pseudo anonymous if that's your thing. Got denied.

One of the biggest annoyances for me with these tablets is the lack of software volume controls. Apples pull down options has a brightness and audio slider which is easily accessible. Android only has brightness. Google needs to update that, because having to find the buttons and press them is cumbersome compared to quickly using the software slider. Especially when the tablet is propped up on a desk in its folio type case.

Just searched through the forum Looks like it was around 360-375 for the 128gb version, but no headphones. So pricing about the same. Seems like an ok deal. Tablet got older, but earbuds are still relatively new.

New debate, storage option. Less than $40 to double the storage. Seems like an ok price to go from 128gb to 256gb.
