Kudos. Same here. Don't perpetuate the problem by paying unnecessarily high. A buddy gave in and was sold a damaged console unknowingly. Whoops.

Definitely not buying a Ps5 anytime soon either. My money isn't burning a hole in my pocket.

I remember when scalper were selling these for about $179 dollars. Didn't pull the trigger. Haven't bought a PS5 because of those freaking scalpers esither.

I paid $30 or whatever it was retail when these first came out and love it. I'd say it's definitely worth it at $10. We still use the PS4 a lot even though we managed to land a PS5

It's because of "people" that many things which should never have happened...did happen and continue to happen.

I really like this attachment, but it is a bit bulky although it doesn't affect ergonomics in a terrible way. What I hate about it is that it drains the dualshock 4 battery like crazy for some reason when the system is off. I can usually go weeks without battery levels falling on unused controllers, but my controller is dead after 3-4 days with this plugged in.

Just have to remember to unplug it every time you put controllers away uncharged/undocked for more than several days at a time.

This adds additional paddle-like buttons to the underside of the controller. You would click this with either your ring fingers or pinky fingers while holding the controller. With certain games you can map special actions or macros to those paddles. I have one, but found it was a little awkward to hold the controller without accidentally triggering those buttons. Also, you have to map the action to those paddles on the tiny screen built into the device, this isn't managed on your main screen in the PS operating system. So it's not for everybody, but at this low price if you're curious it's certainly worth a try.
