This is the best price I've seen so far on the 9th gen iPad. With 256GB. And I shopped around. Shipping is supposed to begin on 9/24.

Still using a physical home button. Is a smaller bevel/no button a "premium" only feature reserved the Pro?

Reserved for higher end models such as the Air and Pro? Yes. Going from a base ipad to an air I miss the home button and bigger bezels tbh. It's an annoyance having the unlock button in a non-central location and I know I'm weird but I liked having a "chin" on the iPad to hold more securely without accidentally pressing something on the screen.

I just don't see a huge use case with this capacity on the low-end device. I suppose just for storing tons of media it would be good.
