Would Sun Joe's other Blower+ Vacuum be the better deal at $39 ($2 more) since it has a vacuum function as well and can blow at speeds of 185mph as opposed to 100mph that this has?

Probably the lowest runtime you can get in a battery powered blower but for the price, i'm thinking I cant say no. I remember paying a lot more to get into the Kobalt 40v ecosystem years back and now it's nearly defunct, my current battery lasts 15 minutes or less now and the replacement batteries are like $60 so if i can get the same amount of time here, and have a second unit+charger hard to pass on that.

I was hoping to get into the Ryobi family since i like my 40v mower, but the blower kit for that is like $150, I know the power and runtime are higher but its a lot of extra money, I tend to charge my tools right after use anyway so I don't need a "lot of time"

Not sure where you pulled the 5 hour charge time from but it would take about little less than an hour with a regular charger, it says it comes with the quick charger which cuts the recharge time to 30 minutes from dead.

I would add that the listing says quick charger (24VCHRG-QC), but the picture shown is (24VCHRG-AC) which not a quick charger? I don't know if the listing is wrong or the picture is, but that may impact the charger that you actually get. Worst case though, its an hour recharge, otherwise its half.

I have the 40v Ryobi Mower and String Trimmer. The string trimmer is part of the "Expand-it" line and allows for the purchasing of attachments. I believe they have the blower attachment for 70 bucks. Probably will be my next purchase and then will also purchase a hedge trimmer attachment later on.
