In case it matters to you, these are the clamps that are parallel when they are tight, but aren't parallel when they are loose. If you need your clamps to be parallel when they're not tightened down, avoid these.

Don't immediately discount these because of the naysayers. I have used these and found them to be very good for nearly all of the work I do. They feel high quality and I like the adjustment mechanism.
