At the risk of being supercilious, one thing I'd remind peeps is that if you ordered a TV and it has shipped, it's not very nice to cancel the order because you changed your mind and decided you wanted something else. I see some people say they'll just wait until it arrives and then refuse delivery. Hey jokers, these are not smartphones - shipping a TV across country costs $100's of dollars. If you can't see the problem from a pure decency point of view, at least understand that generating costs like this on Samsung will mean they'll have to increase prices to cover the dick-wads who f' them around, and that hits all of us.

I was debating between this QLED and a 77" oled too a couple months ago. I had a 65" QLED hanging on the wall so I put up masking tape to see the size difference. Going from 65 to 77 was a big difference (40% more screen area). From the 77 to 85 wasn't as much of a jump as I thought it would be (22%). So I decided on an OLED for the picture quality superiority. Then I went to a Best Buy to look at the LG C1 before buying...and saw the A80J and was blown away by the pic and went that route

For anyone having issues getting the EDU pricing to apply, sometimes it may help to use a private/incognito browser session when following the deal instructions.

I hate this comparison as the 85" is not the one reviewed and is an entirely different beast. The hate must partly go to these things manufacturers basically changing panels on different sizes but keeping it the same model name. I have not found one person that prefers any OLED over this specific TV.

Depends on your use case. If you're putting it in a brighter room with windows, or if you're concerned about burn-in, the QLED will be a better option. The blacks on the OLED will be much better though.

Both are fantastic TVs

No website is offering 10% back on TV's for CB. It's 4% max at TCB. Rak is up to 10%, but 2% specifically for TVs, any other website is 2% atm.

So you can only get one bundle discount FYI, if you tried to do the soundbar bundle where you get a discount on a bundled soundbar + tv it'll discount the TV and undiscount the soundbar. Was hoping it would all stack for a seriously sweet deal but it does not.

After numerous attempts, I was finally able to go checkout and have the tv shown @ $2879.99 but when I click "checkout" it says "Unable to process your request at this time". fjdkla;sjfl;ajsl;jfa!!!!
