At the risk of being supercilious, one thing I'd remind peeps is that if you ordered a TV and it has shipped, it's not very nice to cancel the order because you changed your mind and decided you wanted something else. I see some people say they'll just wait until it arrives and then refuse delivery. Hey jokers, these are not smartphones - shipping a TV across country costs $100's of dollars. If you can't see the problem from a pure decency point of view, at least understand that generating costs like this on Samsung will mean they'll have to increase prices to cover the dick-wads who f' them around, and that hits all of us.

Goodnight.

I've had 2 samsung tvs fail on me and the interface is garbage. Hard pass going forward. I save and get a Vizio with superior specs, lower price and similar dependability.

4k doesn't look that great on a tv this big. I'll wait till 8k is the norm to get a tv big. 55 inches is the sweet spot for me. (No homo)
I disagree. I have the 85" QN90A and if I play some of the 4K HDR city walkabouts from YouTube and I stand 3 feet from the screen, it's like I'm actually on the street. There is no visible pixilation whatsoever. I even tried to pick up a hooker in the Tokyo red light district, but she just ignored me.

Just got the deal, with tax in MI it ended up being $3145 with a $20 trade in for some apple wired headphones. Cancelled my old QN85 85" order ($2967 after tax) and upgraded to the QN90 85" plus Galaxy Earbuds ($3145 after tax). Figured as TV will be in bright room, anti-glare of QN90 will be helpful. Also, may use OTA on this TV which has ATSC 3.0 while QN85 doesn't. I know both panels are VA at the 85" level, but for only another $178, I got top of the line Samsung 4K and some headphones as a Christmas present for my wife.

(still have time to change my mind, as the ship times on these things is nuts and I can easily cancel again)

FYI this discount also works for First responders like health care providers, which I think might also include nurses. I picked one up and went through ID.me and it only took about a minute to verify using a passport photo.

I ordered this 2 weeks back for $3100 but with 3 year Samsung Care+ and 10 month Youtube Music.
Should I cancel my order and re-order this which has no Samsung Care+ and no Youtube Music subscription but has Buds live free?
Any suggestions?

YouTube music doesn't seem all that special, but 3 year care is intriguing. Is that $3100 before or after tax? Cause depending on that, you may be able to tack on the 3 year care to this deal as well for same as you are paying now,

Yea Youtube premium is not that great a deal. I agree.
Its before tax.
$3100 without tax.
2 year samsung care plus is $499 so 3 year ought to be more than that. Its kind of more savings.
I am undecided what to do.

Id keep the warranty and deal you have. Ear buds are fine, but not important in relation to protecting the expensive tv.
