These are quite interesting. These use LG panels (budget, similar to A1 Line) that are 60hz and missing HDMI 2.1 and eARC. They also don't work with Apple products and use older android (not the google tv for 2021). But, that's why they are much cheaper

It has chromecast built in, works with alexa and has google play store. Also, it supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, Atmos, and DTS

The 4 year burn-in warranty starts after 30 days (info here [buydig.com]).

Prices are after coupon code: AYF27+ free s/h

It's great to have another competitor but this doesn't seem like the best deal considering you can get an LG branded OLED on a deal like this one from a couple weeks ago:
https://slickdeals.net/f/15262519-lg-cx-55-inch-at-costco-in-store-only-ymmv-999-97?src=SiteSearchV2Algo1

Plus with Black Friday in just two more months, I'd wait instead of jumping onto this new Chinese brand without any reviews out there.

Here's an article on Skyworth FWIW: https://www.techradar.com/news/sh...th-oled-tv

It depends on which LG OLED model. This Skyworth (based on specs) is more comparable to the LG A1 model, which is also rated at 500 peak nits. That being said, if I was in the market for an entry-level OLED, I would still pay the extra $200 (effectively) for the A1 over this Skyworth.

Every uses LG OLED panels... If it's OLED, it's LG panel... Sony use LG panel but they get the best panel. Vizio and all these smaller brands get less than best panels...

OLED is nice, but I rather get

Samsung, or Sony Mid range... Lowest I would go is Highsence....

From my experience over the last month and half Samsung has the worst customer service ever. Very very bad customer service

Certain TCL Android TVs are so riddled with security flaws they're essentially an entrance for the ccp into your living room. (The Roku tvs are not, afaik) https://www.google.com/amp/s/www....rity-flaws

Odds this is different..?

Just got my 65 inch u8g. Absolutely. With a tv like this, who needs oled? It's almost twice as bright as the cx series and looks fantastic. I cant tell the difference between this tv and my friends LG cx
