I got this one 3 months ago and have been very disappointed with the picture quality. Everything looks dull and grainy. The biggest problem is you won't know how bad the picture is until after assembly and mounting of screen. Then it's too difficult to return!

Based on the stats and it comes with a screen this is a great deal. The ANSI lumens are key for bright pictures.

Do you have it in a dark room? Are you watching 4K content?? Did you tweak any settings?

What made you choose this setup vs a typical budget 4K projector such as the BenQ ones and a high quality screen? I feel like this traditional route wouldn't be more than $1500.

I got the 100 inch version and it's ok. The brightness is good but once you calibrate it to as close as 6500k brightness drops off a bit. Black levels aren't that great either.

Also I've had it for 2 months and there was already a stuck pixel on the dmd that fixed itself somehow so that makes me a little nervous on how long this projector will last.

Not that it may be applicable in this case or this company, but I've been put off by the only Hisense product I own which is their TV. Granted their customer service has been pretty good and they gave me a rollback firmware but my H9G has been a terrible experience. Have to reboot everyday .. eventually lags to molasses, other quirks and bugs including phantom clicks and it opening random apps. Picture quality? As good as they say but their OS / other hardware seems cheap.

That being said I've slowly been climbing the projector world. Started with the Vankyo during the sale last time .. was really impressed for what it was. Then as others said I was craving more and jumped to the Epson 2150 on the Epson refurb deal and Wow! Colors popping, brightness, sharpness, etc. Now I am looking for short throw options due to placement and not having preconfigured ceiling wiring etc … this looked attractive but I come to SD for the honest reviews Smilie looks like this one's a mixed bag ….

Anyone have great recommendations for a 4K laser projector? I'm sure any would be a step up from the 2150 which is already pretty darned good in my eyes and a huge step up from those budget projectors …. Due to it being in a loft the wall im projecting on can realistically do 100" maybe 120" max.

Difficult to decide on what to buy, 120" Hisense VS Samsung LSP7TFAXZA Vs Optoma CinemaX P2. Optoma. All three have some cons....maybe wait for another year to fix those FW issues on these UST projectors.

After you've seen Triple Laser, you can't go back.. The colors are Soooo PURE. The Neon greens are actually neon.

I'd wait for the trip laser $4000 hisense deal to come back.

The 100" is the hard screen pre-assembled. The 120" is the screen you have to spend 15 hours building. Fk that.

It is not native 4K, it's pixel shifted 4K. 4K res is really nice on this projector. Pixel shifting 4K really is a miracle technology. There is a big quality difference between Full HD and 4K.
