according to camel camel camel this is the lowest price. I've only done a handful of posts and none of really turned out well but I hope this one helps someone who's looking for this switch. I just happened to be looking for one this morning and was pleasantly surprised to get it for under 50 bucks! this is a smart managed plus switch so you can control vlans and individual power settings for the power ports. I purchased a few of these for small jobs that I've done and they're very reliable.

Good deal; got one 9/17 for same price; works well but has the "new" netgear UI. Not as intuitive as the old one IMHO, but I get 950Mbps through it, my Unifi 6 AP gets enough power, plus PoE+ means it can drive netgears managed PoE pass-through switch (GS105PE) (the only reason I got it over a standard PoE switch).
If you have a need to have network ports where your AP's are, you'll need PoE+. If you are in the market to extend your network along with your AP's and currently only have PoE (802.1af NOT 802.1at), look at Gigabit Power-Over-Ethernet Extender vs the GS105PE.

Any more direct experience if these can drive more than 2 concurrent cameras via poe? Some will crash 2 if a 3rd is too persistent simultaneously.

I have a bunch of older Netgear POE (non +) stuff and I need a cheap upgrade to power a Unifi 5 APs (UAP-AC-M) outdoors along with 3 4K POE (regular) cameras without using injectors. I'm assuming that this will do the trick based on your Unifi 6 APs. Thanks.

How many AP's? This is powering 2x6 Lite's, but one of those connections goes though a pass thru switch. Honestly, I was powering those and 3 cameras with a GS110-TP from eBay, but it was a v2 that was NOT PoE+. I needed PoE+ only to power that pass thru switch. You'd probably be ok with a regular PoE but for sure, this would work.

Thanks! I appreciate the response and I just took a closer look at my amazon history and it seems like I purchased a PoE+ - a TP-Link TL-SG108PE V3 back in 2017. Hmm, I guess I need to figure out where that ended up... The current switch I was planning to use is a GS108PEv3, so maybe I will give it a try - It sits squashed between a sonic wall, a dell, and a few netgear switches so I guess I never noticed.
That other variant should allow the use of the full 30W capacity on all four POE+ ports given the 120W PSU as opposed to only around half of that power capacity for the $49 one.
Depending on what you're powering in what quantity one might want to consider the higher powered unit if eventually one might need more than
63W allocated over 4 ports.
I suppose the other possible benefit of a higher power rated version would be having more derating so one has more margin between the power
being used vs. the rating of the power supply circuitry so perhaps it would last longer, run cooler within margins, etc.
Does anyone know how good the web management options are for these vs. what is achievable with their installed software?
I have heard of switches where one cannot manage some / many options using a web browser but can only do it using some other option
like windows software, cloud management, whatever, so I'm not sure what applies to this model.
