That's strange, I don't think it's targeted, I got it off a coupon site. I'm logged on to my Newegg account. Let me see that I got the code right and that I can check out as a guest.

Update: I can use code logged in to NewEgg account AND I can use it not logged in. I don't even have to give my email if I check out with PayPal, so I'm confused how people are getting "not valid with this email address" error.

Also I think this has Gen 4 storage drive, one of the first laptops with the 4 lanes, but don't quote me on that. It's true of a similar MSI and reviewer got amazing speeds.

Yes, look at the disassembly video. The MSI prestige 14 Evo had it last year.

A color accurate, bright, screen with low black levels and high contrast.

I think NE caught a glitch allowing a special employee promotion to be used by everyone, that's my guess. I got the code off of a coupon site and it worked this morning. : (

Happy to see more devices switching to 16:10 displays.

Curious to know how the keyboard "feel" is on this machine.

You could get a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6 for around this price and specs (through PaW) which comes with a really great ThinkPad keyboard that some regard as "legendary".
