It does not exclude preorders or Sony 1st party games, at least for right now. I just preordered Horizon Forbidden West for PS5 for $39.xx after the discount. This is a great deal.

No luck, all I have in Target Circle is Free $10 Target GiftCard with $40 select beauty care item purchase. Have never bought a beauty care product.

I went for Horizon Zero Dawn Forbidden West pre-order, Alan Wake Remastered PS5 pre-order, and Super Mario 3D World + Bowsers Fury. $93 total after red card discount and CA tax. Slick deal for sure!

I tried and they said they can't apply codes manually to pre-orders 💩. I told them that isn't true, I've done it in the past but she wouldn't budge. This was done through chat fwiw.

I wasn't planning on getting Horizon at launch figured I would have enough games to play with what I get for Christmas but for $36 for the PS4 version that upgrades to ps5 version why not!
