Anyway - tried to chat with them to also honor pre-orders but after three failed attempts, just proceeded with a big order of in stock games in which the 40% off + 5% off RedCard applied.
Subtotal - $424.40; Discounts $182.06 - $231.41 before sales tax for 10 games. Not too shabby. Thanks OP!

Tried chat and the guy offered my 5% off and said he couldn't do anymore because of my games were preorders. Another person told me that he couldn't do anything at all. The third person seemed initially open to giving me the discount and asked me to load up my cart. He saw that it included pre-orders. He said he would only apply the manual adjustment on games that qualified.
Ended up getting 40% off an already released game. Not too bad though since its only a couple weeks old. Maybe try again later for those preorders. lol
I wonder if it's because I currently have a "make two purchases of $25 or more, receive $10 in Circle points" offer active.
