Is their popularity only because they are cheap?
...then there is a bigger possibility of the larger container making a mess of itself and the return box (if dropped) during shipping... how many bigger containers have exploded vs. maybe 1 out of 6 little ones?
š¤ Now after taking into account the size, volume, and possibly wasted containers, it seems the environment would see ZERO difference between larger and smaller containers being thrown at it. -That's just how I see it, but buy what you will if it makes you happy.
